I just saw a trailer for the Smurfs yesterday ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpPqQYJuOwE ), then Yogi the bear has a movie comes out too, whats up has Puffy (Sean Combs, King of remakes) started making movies now, because all the ideas of the past are being raped today! I understand the youth don’t have any knowledge of these old cartoons, TV shows and etc… But can’t we have some respect for the past. Come On a movie with the Smurfs in New York City. Lord knows if there were no comic books, half of the movies that have come out in the last 4 years wouldn’t even be possible. OK DC’s adult titles half been great like: Sin City, The Spirit, Red, Watchmen & Marvel has been a Savior too. I won’t list the Marvel movies, it feels like they come out every other month, with some good and with some just OK. I won’t lie I’m looking forward in seeing “Tron” the movie, This is a perfect age of technology for a remake of Tron, but when will it stop. Considering that a lot of these remakes aren’t better than certain episodes of the original TV shows or Movies! People this Generation is treading on very shallow ice, it seems that everything is being dumbed down for our children of today!!
Maybe I’m just getting old, but can’t anybody come up with anything NEW!!!
